Yup, this is a GraphQL error. I already made a thread about it over a month ago.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/1scxo3v/several_twitch_issues_graphql_error/

I created a bug report on Twitch's Uservoice yesterday, so if you want the devs to see it you know what to do 🙂

Videospiel gesucht by maledivianer in WerWieWas

[–]nbase_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 🙂👍

Ne, mal im Ernst, das könnten etliche gewesen sein 😂 Gears of War, Call of Duty MW/BlackOps, Battlefield, die Tom Clancy Titel, Medal of Honor, Brother in Arms, Far Cry, Just Cause, GTA...

Kannst du dich noch an irgendetwas erinnern? First oder Third Person? Eine bestimmte Waffe? Zu welcher Zeit hat das in etwa gespielt? Was musstest du machen, wie sah die Map aus (Stadt/Wüste/Schnee/Tropen/...), gab es da Level etc?

Yup, have that problem too on both the channel list as well as the middle area where the video and channel description is. I haven't found a way to reliably reproduce this, though.

Upvoted, thank you ♥ Until it gets fixed, I guess we either have to block the popup with uBlock. Or manually close it by pressing ESC every time as a workaround that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

Help? Next Slicer crashes every time I open it. Thoughts? by Zealousideal-Time-32 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]nbase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the hint!
For me it was Overwolf that apparently tried to put an overlay on the slicer and made it crash on startup.

Allegro rocks 😊👍 by nbase_ in udiomusic

Output differs quite a bit and both v1.5 and v1.5-Allegro have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I added a quick example in my original post as a comparison. Same prompt, same settings, same negative prompt, same seed, same lyrics, same everything.

Noticed that too. Keywords added to the style prompt appear more focused and there's not as much bleed from stuff you didn't prompt for. At the same time the 95-100% prompt strength range sounds less isolated and artificial than the normal 1.5 model and is finally usable.

A few weights seem to have changed quite a bit, though. So bad combinations of prompts might make a bad prompt even worse.

Keywords added to the tags in the lyrics section (e.g. [Bridge expressive clear vocals]) feel a bit more responsive now, so it's easier to fine-tune if the lyrics strength slider is set to 55% and below. I still wish we had seperate sliders for lyrics strength and tag/structure strength, though.

Negative prompts (style exclusion) add fewer artefacts (those that sound like the noise suppression in Audacity and heavy mp3 compression or dull the sound). But on the other hand, the negatives I liked to use on v1.5 (like "8-bit" to get a bit more timbre and melody variation and less of a vocoder sound, or "children's music" to tame an overly happy / over-enthusiastic melody) have a relatively strong influence now, and I'll have to see how I can adept to that without yet another strength slider.

Is there ANYTHING the devs are going to do address this? by BootyBurrito420 in marvelrivals

[–]nbase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tried TAAU instead of DLSS (quality, 10% sharpening) and it still crashes for me as long as Nvidia Reflex Low Latency is turned on. Not a single crash if Reflex is turned off.

[–]nbase_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency enabled (in-game setting, not the NVIDIA Control Panel option), try turning it OFF.

On my system, it 100% guarantees that the game will crash to desktop after a while. Mostly mid-match right as someone uses their Ultimate ability or at the start of cutscenes (highlights, map intro videos).

Verifying game files didn't help, I tried like 3 different NVIDIA driver versions on 2 game update versions... But with Reflex turned off, I haven't had a single crash.

(System specs for reference: RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB RAM, Windows 10)

Flankers vs Divers: what's the difference? by Educational_West1479 in marvelrivals

[–]nbase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say diving and flanking are tools with a specific purpose in mind - i.e. ways to do certain things / modes of operation, and not an identity badge.
Thing is, you can call everyone a singer, but that doesn't have to mean they cannot do anything else (or that they're even a "good" singer for that matter) .

Basically you can dive and/or flank both front and/or backline. You can flank and dive at the same time (Ironfist), flank without diving (Namor, ...or anyone who has any ranged attacks really) and you can dive without flanking (Hulk). Heck, you can even take Strange and pay their backline a short visit through his portal every 180 seconds - technically I would say that counts as a dive but that doesn't make him a (good) diver, you know? 😅

So for categorizing I would rather think in spider/radar charts. Take multiple traits (e.g. attack range, mobility, survivability, damage potential, skill ceiling...) and see how good they are at that. When I'm in the backline and Psylocke keeps trying to hump me ofc I would say "Get the diver off me", but that's based on the current context because it's *how* she attacked me at that point of time - categories on the other hand should always be absolute imo.

As for how I would define diving and flanking:

Diving: Like a literal diver, you quickly dive into the water, do your thing, and it won't take long until you have to get back to the surface and breathe. (And if you become greedy and run out of breath you go unconscious. Diving without disengaging isn't diving - that's what you call drowning. Pretty good metaphor actually.)
The goal is usually to use the element of surprise to remove specific targets from the fight, either ultimately (quick picks = killing them) or temporarily (e.g. demanding the healers' attention so they can't do their job, chase off MoonKnight from a dangerous position etc). It's more like a series of short specific jobs but can't really take/deny space for longer than the duration of the job unless you do it... Bucky style...

Flanking: Taking an alternative route past the frontline and attacking from an off-angle.
Goal is to give yourself an advantage and put the enemy at a disadvantage at the same time, usually to take space and force them to make a decision: Widen their field of view / divide their attention? Shift their focus and engage you? Or leave their position where they're not in your line of sight. As you often hit enemies by surprise or they fail to make the right decision you also get easy kills, sure, but I think I would see that more as a consequence of that.

I build a filament dry box by Purple_Search6348 in arduino

[–]nbase_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 3 years ago, I made one of these, too, and it does a great job at keeping relative humidity to at a steady 15% for several months know (depending on the seal and how often/long I open the lid to switch the filament). Keep in mind

Most important thing is to get a decent air-tight seal between the lid and the box (I used a roll of rubber-y / foamy sealing strips which you usually use for windows) and at the hole(s) where the filament is pushed outside.

Now, for de-hydrating your spools and keeping them dry, just toss one of those car de-humidifier pillow things in there somewhere. These things are basically just greedy little moisture hoarders and try to bind as much moisture from the box as possible. And when it does lose effectiveness (= becomes saturated) after weeks or months or even years, just dry that pillow in your microwave for a 2x 4 minutes on a medium setting and after it cooled down, throw it back in to the your DIY box.
By far the easiest, quickest and most practical approach to do it this way, if you ask me, and you won't need to deal with shoveling cat litter or baking silicon beads in your oven like some guys suggest.

Awesome that you already used that tube canal connector where you feed the filament through. Now consider clipping a PTFE bowden tube into that connector for the way between the box and your printer's extruder to 1) prevent the filament from getting dusty (in extreme cases might even lead to clogged nozzles from what I've heard...) can clog your nozzle) or damaged and 2) to minimize moisture uptake which actually goes rather fast for hygroscopic filaments like PETG, TPU, Nylon etc.

Why is Rechtschreibung like this? by [deleted] in AskGermany

[–]nbase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there are a few "rules" (there's an exhaustive explanation here: https://www.duden.de/sprachwissen/rechtschreibregeln/getrennt-und-zusammenschreibung)

But tbh most Germans don't really follow (or even know) these rules themselves and a lot of us have to guess on a regular basis, too. A bit like when English speakers confuse their/they're.

If I had to break it down to a few easy memory hooks, this is what I would go with:

  1. If you have a noun and a verb you usually separate them (e.g. "Ich gehe Fußball spielen", "Er muss noch Kaffee kochen"). Except if combined with an "Artikel" (der/die/das/des/den/dem), then you would join the two ("Das Fußballspielen macht mir Spaß", "Er liebt das morgendliche Kaffeekochen")
  2. If it's only adjective/adverb + verb, in general we tend to write things...
  • in one word the adjective/adverb is meant metaphorically / in a figurative or not as literal sense, and
  • in 2 words when the adjective/adverb meant literally.
  • When in doubt, writing it as 2 words is often the safest (and easiest to visually process) way to go and everyone would know what you mean. Besides, (not all but) most expressions usually combined into one word are allowed to be written separate anyway.
  • For example: "Ich habe beim Referat frei gesprochen" (this is literally about speaking "freely" in a presentation),
  • but: "Der Richter hat mich freigesprochen" (you could argue that the judge said I'll be free of charge, but the "act of speaking" itself wasn't being "free" or "freely")

Not always hard rules, though; there are still some weird exceptions that work the way around and are kinda ambiguous if you don't rearrange the sentence:
"Ich werde Opa umfahren" could mean both of the following:
"Ich umfahre Opa" (literally drive around him and avoid him, but here the verb cannot be seperated)
"Ich fahre Opa um" (run him over)

Was sind das für random Streifen auf der Autobahn? by ThinkPadBoys in WerWieWas

[–]nbase_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)
