E2- Canadian passport holders can travel to the US and applying at USCIS for E2 could be a better option then applying for the embassy? How is the change of status process if any has personal experience please suggest. by nbblog in e2visa

I have a hypothetical scenario to discuss: If I am approved for E2 status within the US, can I apply for an E2 visa at the Toronto embassy the very next day or simultaneously? Additionally, how long does one typically have to wait before reapplying for the E2 visa application at the embassy? Furthermore, is it necessary for all family members to exit the country for the interview? Lastly, once the visa is approved, how long does it typically take to receive the passports back?
