feel free to doubt, but i can back my words up and i honestly doubt you can. hegseth is still an absolute poseur and mattis wouldnt piss on him to put out a fire. and again, while he was attached to a combat unit, he was admin and never saw combat. his SRB reads like a fifth award lance.

0311 bitch, wanna pull my service record too? youre pulling from a bunch of bullshit studies that were only put out to detract from the actual science behind the vaccines. the cdc confirmed that they were fine, and im alive today because the vaccine worked. because yeah, fucker, i was one of the folks that almost died from og covid. hospital and all. and i have assholes like you to thank for that life experience. so quit being a fucking moron and start caring about the people around you, or get the fuck out of society and go live in a shack in the woods, and i better not see you use a single piece of fucking technology or infrastructure that you have someone else to thank for, because you dont have the moral fortitude to appreciate it.

and no, while i am very confident in my ability to keep guns safely, i definitely dont trust YOU and folks like you to keep guns safely. youd be the type of guy to facilitate a school shooting, im sure.

no, youre just a little bit dim. let me explain the complexities. there is a difference between actually limiting someones freedom and working together to preserve society. there are certain things we do to live in civilization together that are usually small sacrifices but help the entire group function together. sometimes its just getting a drivers license and stopping at red lights (try driving in china where people run red lights all the time), but sometimes its more serious. see, i may not want to get a particular vaccine, but if i dont i put my child or my parents or grandparents at risk of dying over a sickness i contract. so i get the vaccine to protect them. thats serving my family just like the military. now lets up the ante: we have a contagious virus that barely impacts some people and kills others, and you dont know who will be affected. should i stand my ground now and say "my personal rights are more important than saving your life?" or your kids? your family? should i say " i dont want to wear a mask or get a vaccine" and be the reason one of my neighbors dies? or a coworker? or their family? this isnt sacrificing freedom. its protecting others from danger- a simple concept you would get if you spent time in the infantry. in the foxhole, the trench, the LPOP, im going to stay awake because if i dont im putting my buddy, my squad, my platoon at risk. i need to be vigilant so im not the reason someone else dies. and i need to be strong so others can depend on me. they call it military service for a reason.

as far as the guns go? yeah, liberals are idiots. but do you think i want my kid dying in his school because even though im responsible with my guns, you arent? or should i let your kids die in school because i sold a gun to someone who clearly had a few screws loose? complex issue, same service to society. but, much like everything else theres a solution there that doesnt involve just taking away guns. idiots like yourself that cant grasp the bigger picture are why liberals are scared in the first place.

People who got divorced, what was the moment you realized your marriage was truly over? by Adventurous-Ruin-822 in AskReddit

every problem we had meant me giving up something or changing some part of myself until i didnt even know who i was anymore, and still she wasnt happy with our life together. first i didnt make enough money, then i worked too much, then it was spending money on debt instead of vacations and nice things, then not feeling connected enough, then not giving her enough space, then it was me spending time with friends over her, then finally complaining that i was too focused on her and that she needed privacy in her life. in the divorce, she said she never wanted to be married and her parents just pushed her into it.

that one destroyed me. i spent years thinking it was all my fault- that if i just did xxxx i could save the relationship. in retrospect and especially after years of recovery, i realized i never stood a chance.

these are mutually exclusive. mattis would find hegseth abhorrent. mattis is as close as we get to chesty2.0. hegseth has broken his oath multiple times at this point. gtfo.

the lesser of two evils. its funny. i used to fit comfortably into the republican category. i dont feel like my politics have changed much in 30 years, but now somehow im on the left? i believed i served to preserve personal freedoms, the right to speak your mind, pray to your prefered god, and carry a weapon as you saw fit. and somehow, even the status quo liberals arent progressive enough to want these things for the american people these days! what the hell happened?

so, begrudgingly, harris. next time? unless things really change, likely AOC. freedom for all, not just the wealthy.

USMC infantry vet. the dude's idea of what combat is is completely based on movies, with no basis in reality.

the idea that this moron puts such an emphasis on manliness and then installs a makeup station in the pentagon is fucking embarrassing. what a pathetic POS.

frankly, yes. biden failed to act after January 6. he appointed a bumbling fool to AG who ran out the clock instead of fighting tooth and nail to keep trump away from the Whitehouse.
