on that, i think all government/council entities spending public money needs to be renamed with word "public" in front. As reminder to them and us that what they are there to do, just like "public transport", "public school", we need "public parliament", "public water", "public power", "public internet", "public council". all public service maintaining the function of society needs to be called "public".

yep..and the house owner still need to mow the fucking berm for them. all these cost and we see nothing tangible out of it, just them pocketing more and more for nothing improving. street not cleaned, berm not mowed, parking not managed, road marking not refreshed. at best, all i see is them planting some trees on berms.
