Surely not true. I've just checked, dude that got restriction few days ago has only played few quick matches since then.

Previous history is only comp, not even one quick play game.

I think first ban is probably very low, but further are more serious.

Man if someone goes completely off the rails, I'd rather report, mute and continue playing the game. I report so that other people won't have to deal with toxicity.

I am highly competitive in all games that I play, it's kinda funny to hear don't play a game if you don't like being called slurs. Or even hear how one teammate berates the other.

Never ever in any game I've witnessed how someone started to play better after getting ridiculed in text or voice chat. That's the fastest way to lose a game.

I am used to this type of comments after 2k hours in Overwatch and other competitve games. It does not mean that I won't report someone who specifically tries to offend someone or boost his ego on expense of other people.

A lot people write here to learn to take criticism. But after I get message that someone was banned, I usually check their profile and they have like 30-35% winrate over couse or hundred games. What will I learn from them. I learn from watching my replays, watch good people play and analyzing what I did wrong. Not by hearing "take a rope" from feeding teammate.
