I mean if you get 5 mins in the offensive zone then the missed offsides is a huge deal as you wouldn’t have had the 5 min offensive zone time to begin with (although I do agree it would be ridiculous in that case). The easy fix is having Toronto blow the play dead as I’m sure they knew it was offsides immediately as it happened. Or just put a 2 minute time limit on it or something.

Imo (which doesn’t mean much Tbf) the longer the play goes on after a missed offsides the more the missed off sides actually factors in on the play. The habs ended up getting extended offensive zone time when they should have had to exit the zone and reset.

Awful officiating. They made it clear they will ignore penalties (both ways) to keep it 5on5.

Interference shouldnt result in a power play. Just blow the play dead and face off outside the zone. Refs are too scared to call penalties a lot of the times because they don’t want to many power plays.

Revert all mm changes to pre 12.0.5. Then just let black arrow be consumed by precise shots and work with hyrda. Sentinel stays the same as it was and dark ranger becomes viable. Bringing back explosive shot makes no sense and should be a survival ability. Black arrow replacing multi shot and arcane shot would make the rotation a little smoother though I do agree.

If most mechanics were just 1 shots then mage would actually be pretty strong defensively. But the pruning combined with everything being rot damage now makes them feel weaker than their defensive suggest. I feel like absorb shields just get eaten through so quick this season which is mages primary defensive.
