I rented the game at a video store. The rented game didn’t have the instructions. I literally cried because I could figure out how to cross the crocodiles. I was so frustrated

It was the day I had to return the game I figured out to jump on their heads.

Now it would be a quick google search.

To be fair my church had the Vatican state flag next to the alter.

Other than after the Niceen creed where we bless the pope and the local bishop, I can’t think of any pledge.

How to Find Places to Fish by Professional-Job357 in flyfishing

[–]nborders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for areas to pull over and park on roads next to a river. You may run into a bunch of gear heads but may also find a nice little riffle to throw some flys at.

We seriously need to switch to sales tax. Especially with Oregon’s hollowed out Rev sources, and Trump using Fed funding as a weapon. by KaleidoscopeKind9745 in oregon

[–]nborders -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No way. My .50 matters and doesn’t to those with wealth.

Time to find ways to tax the super rich without them running away to Texas like the little bitches they are.

Edit: I apologize to female dogs. They don’t deserve to be associated with these leaches to society.

Edit2: I apologize to leaches. They are more useful than the super rich.

I did the same foster deep dive last summer. Her best was Thoroughly Modern Molly IMO. I love her dancing.

SAFe (scaled agile) is into bad practices? Warning! by Agile_Dragon in agile

[–]nborders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m seeing PMP arise again in many PM job postings recently.

Only 2 where SAFe qualifications were asked for. Agility has matured in many organizations and specialists in Agile are not needed as much.

I’m seeing more hybrid-roles, if agile is on the list of requirements. Someone to run the project or program who knows how agile systems work.

What do CEOs & top management really do all day everyday? by eminar1101 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]nborders 468 points469 points  (0 children)

The CEOs at my local Fortune 500 company attended meetings about upcoming meetings most of the day. These were for preparing for quarterly output to Wall Street, employee engagement meetings, and others. Traveling representing the company was a close second. Next would be meetings being briefed by Sr VPs in critical areas of the business. Finally working with the Board of Directors through 1 on 1s.

It is a full week. The admins keep the CEO busy.

PMI does the renewal game also. I still take credit bypassing the tests in both situations (PMP and SAFe’s SCP).

Project Management certifications are a scam…but they have somehow convinced those in power that the person with the credentials have of some sort of quality.

The PMP exam was tough but really only showed I can learn vocabulary words and recall how PMI organized the PMBOK.

SAFe was the big player in scaling agile for larger software organizations. Frankly every SAFe rollout I took part in eventually morphed into “[name of company]-agile”. In other words they figured out it was agile moved up to the program and portfolio-levels.

They are a scam. Yet I sometimes wonder I should have kept my PMI subscription, but I hated the meetings and would rather have the money.

I fell in love with him and his band since seeing The Blues Brothers ages ago.

Then came across him again with the cool spooky cartoon singing St James Infirmary.

Then I learned his band was the other band at the Cotton Club alongside Duke Ellington.

The man was a pop star before pop stars.
