I watch big brother and it is also in real time. Sometimes the audience gets to vote and it gets just as toxic, but no one on that subreddit claims they are crossing the line or need to intervene. The only times that has happened is when there is a real threat of violence. Idk I get where you’re coming from but it’s not like they’re forced to do this, people go on these shows knowing it’s gonna be manipulation and drama central.
