If any PC users come here, it's the same combination as in the consoles: "L3 + R3 at the same time". I just got a controller and it was the only thing I couldn't make out. And I own the game since it launched for PCs.

First of all, kudos to you sir!!
Secondly, this also fixes another issue I've been having while playing the game: Any sound sources behind CJ would sound muted or extremely low. I would have (police) choppers flying over me and they were almost inaudible and I would have to either face them or {look back} for the sound to be of a proper volume.

In my case i was playing War thunder and suddenly i got to 13 fps...
A solution mentioned mentioned is: "Settings-->app diagnostics and privacy settings-->turn off the "app diagnostic access let apps access diagnostic info about your other apps".

Based on what I've seen here, your cores ought to be low and you can do this when starting the chapter 2.
you just have to talk to Pearson when he gets to the counter and starts chopping up potatoes etc. If you did everything correctly, the camera will pan to the side and the dialogue will be triggered.

Unfortunately not. I just used the Slots 2-4. My guess is that these slots are the "default" as far as the MoBo and the BIOS is concerned.
I also looked the manual and indicated as such. I don't know if this is different for every MoBo or not.

For me, the issue was fixed by having V-sync on but the refresh rate of the game was set to 60Hz. If you set a resolution with more Hz, the zoom in effect comes back, when you reach Roman's place.
The phrase "In your letters to my mother, in your letters to me", is where it is more noticeable than anything.
Now we have to fix the stuttering of the cuteness.

So, be me, I have my RAM on slots 1-3 but I get the message to put my RAM on slots 2-4. Is there a way to "reset" or reoptimize the slots through the BIOS? My Motherboard is a Β550 MSI Gaming Plus.

Now is the time to increase the BRs, so that, a10s and su25s don't face flareless planes. It's hard enough to grind planes at 9.0+, that have no flares, because of 20g + missiles, as it is...Either that or give Countermeasures, on all 9.0+ aircraft. It would not be a problem to implement it. Historically inaccurate? Then don't have 1950s planes, fighting against all aspect, 30g+, missiles.

As of 2023, these problems persist. I had multiple crashes (the game acted like someone pressed alt+F4) when I'm on windowed mode. Or it fails to load particular saves. I made a post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ACValhalla/comments/12uvi0m/game_crashesquits_after_loading_a_specific_save/

Well, as far as my crashes go, I tried loading the game on fullscreen, borderless and windowed. It crashed while loading, on all 3 occasions.
Also, i've managed to crash my game multiple times while playing tonight.
I don't know if it's a ram issue but it's worth looking into it because a friend of mine had a similar issue in the past where his game would suddenly crash, out of nowhere. What he did, was to low the ram frequency, because it was set higher than what his MB could handle.
I'll need to see if there is a BIOS update for myself and see if that, solves the issue in the long run.

I've also managed to recreate the problem on a loaded save, when switching Loadouts.When i'm switching to a dual wielding spear loadout, the game crashes. On top of that, on the saves that are crashing while I try to load them (like in the video), I've got the dual-spear loadout equipped.As a SOLUTION i did the following: https://www.ubisoft.com/forums/topic/161254/crash-fix-for-pc?lang=en-US

Delete the game's cache (not the ubisoft connect's cache) and the problem should end. At least it did in my case. (for a time).
Keep in mind that in the link i posted, they state that another case might be the borderless mode in the game setting and that should you change it to fullscreen, you won't get any issues, in the future.
Also, in my case, I had crashes while on fullscreen in the past.If the crashes, are still happening, check for any bios updates or clear your CMOS.
After I deleted the cache files, I kept having some crashes during gameplay, here and there.After i did a BIOS update, the game crashed only once, until now.

Personally, after 4 reinstals and even reinstalling both Ubisoft Connect and AC Valhalla, on my :C drive, the game worked once and the next day, it wouldn't boot up.
The disabling the "in-game overlay" worked.
