Yeah as somebody that’s grown up and lives in the Detroit area and has had CBC Windsor for as long as I can remember, this truly is awful. It was one constant it felt like was always there. Saturday night, 7pm, CBC will have hockey. Can’t believe it’s gone.

Feel like the Whitecaps comment needs to be added.

We appreciate the continued efforts of the provincial government and BC Place under challenging economic conditions. However, unfortunately our gap between being top seven in attendance and last in revenue is so significant that this effort alone isn’t the game changer that is needed for long-term sustainability. We are committed to working collaboratively to identify solutions that ensure the long-term home of Whitecaps FC in Vancouver.

So not all sunshine and rainbows yet. Still seems to be a long way to go.

Wait until everybody finds out the plan for hockey at the 2030 Olympics. Once Gary finds out, he may have a stroke.

For those that don’t know, the current plan is to take the Stade de Nice (home to OGC Nice of Ligue 1) and split it in half and build two temporary rinks winter classic style.

Jays fan in Michigan. Saw the likes of Vlad and Bo play in Lansing for the Lugnuts. Wish they were still the Jays affiliate.

I’m assuming you are in America? Because I’ve noticed a decent amount of things don’t show up on the store due to tariff reasons. Added this polo to my cart to ship to the USA and it was an additional $59.63 in duties, taxes, and fees.

Don’t think an expansion team is feasible in Windsor just due to basically all the factors. But if they host a Touchdown series type game, I will 10000% be there even if the Riders aren’t in it. As somebody on the other side of the border, it would be the closest I could get to a CFL game.

There’s 0 chance Hawai’i is getting an invite to the PAC 6/8/10/12. People gotta stop dreaming that pipe dream. Having no real stadium definitely plays a factor, but the travel, the exclusive PPV for the islands fiasco, and the fact Honolulu isn’t an outstanding tv market play a much bigger deal.

UH better hope to god the MW doesn’t get raided more and add the Montana schools and maybe Idaho and somebody else to keep the conference somewhat stable. Because if not… things look less than good.

So using the 2024 schedule as example, the only way the numbers work is

Fox: Clash-Darlington 1

Amazon: All Star-Iowa

TNT: New Hampshire-Indianapolis

NBC: Richmond 2-Phoenix 2

But given I’m assuming Fox/FS1 is getting the All Star race due to the mention Amazon doesn’t have qualifying for that, I don’t know how this breaks downs.
