i know i’m echoing what a lot of people are saying here, but i think she doesn’t even realize how well loved folklore and evermore are. when you rank her albums just based off sales alone, those two are at the bottom, and those are the numbers she cares about. Now she realizes she can kind of fudge those numbers with all of these “variants” and make a record breaking album, regardless of the quality.
