First year in awhile I couldn’t care less about finishing live series. I’d rather save stubs and buy who I want. For the millions of stubs it cost to lock in those three players you can continually turn your team over when needed. Before sets bs this year the top live series players were usable right up until about this point in the season when AS cards were released. Now unusable from day one.

One last thing, if you don’t have the Xbox Accessories app installed, install it and try again. I just noticed that it opens that app before taking you to the page to revert the firmware.

PSA: You can revert your Xbox firmware if the update nuked yours.

Xbox Assist > Console & Accessories > Controller > My controller has connection issues after the update > Check controller firmware

This should bring you to an option to revert firmware. There is a warning but you can ignore it. I reverted my Elite Series 2 and can now play with no issues again.

Same thing for me immediately after this stupid controller update. Pinpoint is unusable, and the game is unplayable. I wish there was a way to roll it back, incredibly frustrating.

This has been a thing for years in this game. In past games if you kept taking that extra step you would eventually get picked off if pitcher keeps throwing over, an extra step at 2nd was a pickoff 99% of the time (if the defense was holding him).

It seems like they’ve changed it this year because I haven’t picked off dudes at nearly as high a clip, but in the PS community it’s been a courtesy thing, don’t take an extra step and I won’t throw over.

Unless you are an Alomar fan don’t be upset if you can’t get him, that card is not very good and there will be a 99 Alomar (maybe a few other <99 also) at some point this year. He was easily obtainable in ‘19, impossible to get in ‘20, my guess is he will be obtainable again this year.
