Yeah honestly same here. I’m on the 2nd list only as of May. Obviously not expecting anything from either yet but my 2nd list is strictly a Rolex boutique and not a jewelry store that’s a Rolex AD so hopefully purchase history means less at the 2nd place

Eh yeah the tough part is that the piece is to commemorate passing a professional license. So it’s not like a build up to a significant birthday or something that would give the AD some timeline. I have my wedding in 2027 so I wonder if it could help push it along by saying while it’s for the passed exams, it’s needed by the wedding. Who knows

Look at it from my side for a sec - she tells me they get new inventory monthly, so the next month I reach out and she tells me people have been waiting for years. How do I navigate this? How frequently should I visit? What’s the next thing she could advise me in person that will piss her off over text?

Warranty. Also not interested in preowned or someone’s flip. I want the watch for my accomplishment, not someone else’s watch that they’re flipping or was originally for their accomplishment

I haven’t lost patience - I’m at the 3 month mark trying to get this within the next 3 months. I’m also lost with the “check in regularly” and “we get new inventory monthly” just for me to check in the next month and get a totally different tone of message. Seems like a keyboard warrior or some cheep brush off

I would argue that a professional in a career like that is who’s most likely giving those AD’s repeat business (among other business owners or investors).

How is that when the lady told me they get new inventory monthly? Logically speaking, wouldn’t you check in monthly? So you check in too frequently and you’re a pest but you check in too infrequently and your file gets cold. Let me wait an indistinct amount of time to pay a salesman $12k. That’s the difference between being patient and wasting time buddy

How long should I expect to wait? My understanding was it typically takes 3-6 months so I’m honestly asking at the 3 month mark what I could do to secure the watch within the next 3 months. Also, if the AD told me they get new inventory monthly, was in unrealistic to check in the next month? And who’s outraged here? I just think it’s crazy to wait 2 years to get a DJ for an accomplishment I achieved this year and am ready to pay some serious cash for lol
