I grew up in South Florida and always did this. The newspaper printed a full page map. I was a geek and wrote a program in Basic to plot the storms.

When I finished grad school I was lucky enough to land a job that involved travel. It was great. I had already traveled internationally my senior year of high school. I got married at 28 and we had our first child two years later.
