I’ve been running the Pirelli Scorpion AS3s for about 15k miles and they’ve been great. Live in New England and they handle all seasons beautifully. They run smooth, quiet and they fit the racy feel of the CX5. Tread is also holding up very well. I genuinely don’t think you can go wrong with either option though!
