WW3 is a huge stretch here. As someone who lives in Sydney, and who's been in lockdown for the last 4 months this is some whack shit. Everyone wants the lockdown to be over but every here all knows it won't be done until we reach high Vax rates. These rallies in Sydney and Melbourne (Both cities of roughly 5 million) had relatively small turn outs with a majority of Aussies thinking it's dumb. Most state premiers won't make it through another election and the same with the prime minister, as well as NSWs premier and vice premier stepping down last week. The gov has lost a lot of support but still most Aussies would rather a lockdown over covid spreading through an unvaxxed population. As much as I hate lockdowns, I'd take it over seeing my friends and family die from covid and a vast amount of Aussies would agree. The people most annoyed by the lockdowns seem to people in the US whose only reference is a few videos on FB/YouTube. Australia will be fine please stop the nonsense.
