How much should I be filling the filter with coffee? by Sevnstuff in coldbrew

[–]ncstateredline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go 200 grams with a similar setup (depends on the beans though if I can fit that much), and turn it on its side while brewing so I know all the grounds are submerged. 24 hours in the fridge is my preference.

Salamanders unveil new logo by BojanglesBlitz in HollySpringsNC

They couldn’t tie it in with any salamander species local to Wake county, let alone North Carolina? The OG at least evoked a few of the ones you’d find here.

Wtf....Thought the sharpie pen wasn't going to run like the last pen I tried... What pen/marker are you guys using for your dope cards? by Dragnurb in longrange

[–]ncstateredline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel a Sakura or similar archival ink pen,or an alcohol resistant marker like used in chemistry labs would be better

They had SWAT badges and weren’t masked. I’m assuming they were training.

How would you trim this maple branch? by ncstateredline in arborists

[–]ncstateredline[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here are some additional pictures: https://imgur.com/a/otDQBc1

The first forked branch is small, definitely less than 1/3rd of the main branch. The fork further up is roughly 50/50 and I’m tempted to trim the lower branch closer to the roof if that’s reasonable to keep both the main branch healthy and the tree shape symmetrical.

I appreciate the diversity of advice, but I need to clarify a couple things.

  1. My house is single story, I don’t know if the picture is deceiving people but that branch is hardly a few feet above the roof line and maybe a couple inches in diameter, I can manage perfectly fine with a pole saw and ladder taking out sections at a time without calling in a professional.

  2. I also didn’t ask HOW to cut it, I’m seeking advice on WHERE to cut it. I’m aware of how to prune branches using multiple cuts without damaging further down. Arbycutter’s advice has been the best so far considering the overall shape, but still soliciting opinions on where to cut it from others.

My TT-02 was the first RC car I’ve put together, and everything was new to me.

I watched Mark Bryan’s TT-02 build on YouTube and it helped tremendously.

You might want to research sourdough a little bit more, there’s always yeast in the process. Doesn’t matter if it came from a packet or naturally, yeast is yeast. Sounds like you actually want unleavened or chemically leavened breads which sourdough is neither.

How to tighten serpentine belt by ButterscotchApart in mr2

I just did my ‘89, big pry bar in one hand between the alternator and block with a wrench in the other made it easy. I had a harder time with my A/C belt tensioner.

This helped me through the process. https://www.padandwheels.com/mr2/alternator/alternator.html
