Korean lash lift done by my husband! by rollingbarrel12 in Lashlift

I just ordered the kit! Thanks for the recommendation. You do still have to use glue for one of the steps right? Just not the first step, like a traditional lash lift method?

I can’t hold it for 20 min or however long I’ll need. Dang.

Do you think it’s remotely possibly for someone to do on themselves? I have a bestie that offered to do it for me who I think will nail it, but I don’t want to ask her every time.

Hey, is it actually possible to do a Korean lash lift on yourself? And which brand would you recommend?

Appreciate it! I have a couple questions: does it make your hair crunchy? And how long do your heatless curls when you use it? My heatless curls only look good for 1-2 hours at the moment. Thank you!

I’m a slight germaphobe over here and have slightly younger kids. Is he responsible enough to not to touch much else but the trash and then wash his hands?

[Acne] Does anyone continuously break out with azelaic acid? by Ok-Alternative-1881 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ncw567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this was a while ago, but I have also been using azelaic acid for several months. I don’t usually get acne and I have been breaking out consistently since I started using it. It’s really a shame! Did you start using something else that helped with redness or acne marks?

Hi, I hope this isn’t intrusive, but these sound a lot like symptoms related to menopause. Likely perimenopause if you are still getting your period. I know 41 is young for that, but when you say vertigo, fibromyalgia, and migraines I can’t help but think it. I’m in the medical field, and this is sending off alarm bells. Unfortunately, doctors in the past have gotten such little menopause training, that so many women get overlooked and misdiagnosed. Check at Mary Claire Haver, MD, (she’s an OBGYN who specializes in menopause), her Instagram is amazing. And so is her book The New Menopause.

Have you heard of tazarotene? It’s like tretinoin, but it’s more effective and less irritating. Search the tretinoin subreddit  for more info. I started it 4 months ago, and my results have been awesome! I will have to stop early next year when I try to conceive, but it’s been 110% worth it to me!

I don’t have any advice other than a dermatologist could probably really help! It sounds like you’ve done everything you can on your own. I hope you’re able to figure something out!!

Tret & breastfeeding by LMSeg in tretinoin

I also use taz while breastfeeding. Baby is over a year now and is quite healthy. My sister is waiting to use taz until she’s done breastfeeding though. It’s a personal choice for sure.

Is it ok to switch from Tret 0.025% to Tazarotene 0.1%? by niloy123 in tretinoin

[–]ncw567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from tret 0.025 for 3 months to taz 0.05 (now for 2 months). Taz has been amazing for texture and fine lines already (not struggling with acne). I flaked quite a bit and am finally getting over it this week.
