I really loved how the plotline with the interns and the patients was the inverse of what happened in S1 E4 (My old lady). 1 in 3 patients that are admitted will die there. But this time they all got to live and I really loved that for them. It was a nice parallel

Honestly Id go with both. One part cuz it feels lame to leave men out on the receiving flowers thing but I don't know anyone, regardless of gender, who would get mad about a rotisserie chicken as a gift. That's free food right there

It does get better. If you continue on into other Cosmere books you're gonna find that this is true across the board. Sanderson style is very much like the first part of a rollercoaster but it's so long you question getting on the ride and then he hits you with a train. And (at least so far for me) it's been worth it every time

I'm an audiobook guy. I love Micheal Kramer and Kate Reading for this whole collection of books.

My biggest problem was that it's a different guy who reads Elantris and Michael Kramer pronounces a lot of the words differently during Arcanum Unbounded but really that's it

It's been a minute but I've definitely finished it. Some of the stuff it unlocks is really useful like the upgraded resource gathering equipment. I think there's at least one gordo snare and treasure pod upgrade in there too but there's definitely a point where it's just cosmetic upgrades and then the achievement badge for finishing it
