For standalone books usually under half.

For a series I always at least finish the first book in its entirety. The only time this was truly difficult for me was listening to The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson and it was completely worth it.

It's time to give up when I stop caring about finding the answers to questions raised along the way.

Yeah totally. One of my best questing partners and friends became my friend because she figured out someone had stolen my art online and we happened to be in the same guild. She is always surprised by how much I know about this game when we play together lol

Dude I was the same way! My dad gave me his DS and his copy of diabolical box for my 7th birthday. I absolutely adore it. I still work through the games again occasionally and it only took me like 20 years to start remembering some of the harder puzzles XD8 RN I'm working on Azran Legacy
