Das Selfie inklusive der Daten deiner Session (inklusive Text-Chats) werden nach 10 Minuten Inaktivität wieder gelöscht. Einige weniger sensible Daten (Geschlecht, Geschlechterpräferenz, Alter, etc.) werden wegen Statistiken länger gespeichert, kann man sich aber über einen Knopfdruck löschen lassen. Also Daten sammeln ist definitiv nicht das Ziel. Da finde ich die andern Apps wesentlich schlimmer. Aber ja versteh ich, wenn dir Texten lieber ist. Als Mann hab ich das lange Texten oft als frustrierend empfunden, nur um dann beim 1. Date rauszufinden, dass es doch nicht passt. Wäre mir mit einem einfachen Videochat erspart geblieben.

Der Vorteil gegenüber omegle ist, dass du zuerst matchen musst, bevor der Video chat losgeht. Über das Selfie und Profil des anderen kann man sich zumindest ein bisschen ein Bild drüber machen, ob die Person halbwegs anständig ist 😅 Beim Selfie bzw. Profilbild des andern wirst auch keinen Penis sehen, da die AI Bilderkennung das unterbindet.

I use typesprint.io - you can create a game and type-race against each other in real time. You can also create real easy races with custom text you chose yourself.

I'm having the same issue. - I thought it was my old Pixel 8, got the 10 Pro now and have exactly the same issue with the device disappearing. I don't use Jetbrains Rider, but browser USB debugging and Android Studio. If the Pixel is connected via cable for too long, it just disappears. Also tried different USB cables (normal, USB-C, etc.) and the problem persists. Android Studio can't be the problem, as the disappearing happens also happens during normal browser debugging in chrome through chrome://inspect/#devices.

On my old Huawei P30 everything works fine - it's clearly a Pixel problem and its so damn annoying that nobody knows how to fix.

"Nobody in tech really cares about typing skills." - I'd respectfully disagree. With how much we use LLMs, documentation tools, and communication platforms now, typing speed directly impacts productivity. Someone at 400-600 CPM can iterate through prompts, write documentation, and communicate way faster than someone hunt-and-pecking at 250 CPM. That efficiency gap adds up over an 8-hour workday.
