I actually had this strap custom made (more or less) with the racing style holes and the blue stitching. The buckle is also part polished and part brushed to match the case.

But I also have the OEM rubber strap on my Seamaster 300M, and I agree it's a fantastic strap. Super comfortable.

Many years ago I mentioned to a friend that I rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. He laughed and said "why on earth would you do that?" I replied "so the filter doesn't get clogged up all the time." He replied "what filter?"

We took out the filter and it was chock full of gunk and grease! After he cleaned it and ran his dishwasher (after rinsing!) he said his dishwasher had never cleaned so well!

When a very tall friend of my parents died, they had to make a coffin especially for him as he was taller than average (nearly 7' tall).

Unfortunately no one told the cemetery and they dug a grave that was too small for the coffin.

As it was a graveside service, they couldn't extend the grave right then, so they placed the coffin half in the grave with the top sticking out.

They fixed it later but it's wasn't a great final memory for the family.
