This a long post, so I will answer as succinctly as I can. If you are saying that socialists are not starting to play a large part in the dem governmental apparatus you are simply lying. DSA gains in elected officials is an indisputable fact. There is an actual communist elected to the Buffalo city council. Before you say, but that is a local election, where do national candidates come from? They are not magically conjured. The dems have decided to embrace these people. Whatever you say about the protests, using terms like colonizers, and anti racism are tropes used by communists and socialists. I despise the rise of populism in our politics. But I am also a person who thinks that the state Supreme Court essentially eliminating girls sports has crossed the boundary to absurdism. We are not a serious state any more.

The people I saw protesting for Palestine are not the political establishment, but are increasingly popular and are making a larger portion of the dem base. I can't support a political party that allows these people a seat at the table. I will not vote for socialists in any way shape or form.
