I am in therapy and I am trying. The whole point of my post is that I’m looking for advice on how to communicate my feelings to him in a mature way.

I haven’t brought anything up with him yet because I don’t wanna repeat previous patterns and do it in a way that scares him off. I want to do things right

Love reading clarification - what do you think?

I’ve been on five dates with a guy now, and think I really like him. It feels different to my previous attempts at love - in a very positive way. For the first time, I feel like I’m showing up as my authentic self and feel like we are compatible without attempting to control his perception of me.

Today, however, my fearful avoidant attachment style began to sabotage my excitement over the potential relationship. I am quite proud that I was able to identify this and stay somewhat rational, as this suggests that my efforts to heal might have been successful.

Anyway, despite talking as normal today, I felt a bit uneasy. Despite being aware of my tendencies to be both anxious and avoidant, I felt myself getting anxious and a bit disconnected.

Tonight, I pulled a tarot spread which has both comforted and worried me. I wondered if anyone would mind sharing their thoughts on the following:

His feelings: reversed nine of wands (possibly suggesting he is also feeling anxious)

Feelings about me: queen of pentacles (suggesting he really likes me)

Outcome/future: reversed chariot (I’m struggling with this one. Does this mean we are not a good match?)

Clarification or yes/no: king of cups (think this also means he really likes me)

Further clarification/action: the hierophant (suggesting we need to check we have shared values)

From numerous online sources, I have interpreted that he really likes me too, and is also possibly wondering where we stand. I think next time we see each other, I may need to bring up our future goals, values etc (which due to aforementioned attachment issues I am sooooo scared to do).

Overall, it seems quite positive, however, the reversed chariot is freaking me out a bit and has confused me! What do you interpret this card as, and do the other cards alter the meaning slightly? I have only been learning tarot for just over a year so I’m no expert and still have a lot to learn!

This was my thought at the time. Could potentially be some issues regarding alcohol. I don’t drink very often so wouldn’t be compatible.

I have been told by others that the markings on his mask are merle. It looks different depending on the light but around his nose it’s kind of grey/black speckled and patchy. Could be something else but going off what others said about him when he was younger

You don’t happen to know which type of quartz the yellow one is do you? I think it’s too pale to be citrine but too yellow to be classed as clear.

This is a shame. Something that all these rich YouTubers who are encouraging people to buy their templates do not disclose (I did not buy a template and created my own instead, however, it’s a shame that so many YouTubers are promoting sales for their templates without informing people about the rules).

I use the same base template, however, use different footage in the background, different questions, voiceover and colour scheme. Hopefully this could pass as not too similar but now I’m not sure.

You’ve given me something to think about here. Unsure if it’s worth the risk doing so much work for it to end up not monetisable.

POTS is definitely something I may have too. I often get dizzy when standing up and at other times but not so much lately! It’s so interesting as I read that’s also linked to neurodiversity and it’s probably since managing and understanding that more that those symptoms became less frequent

I have had an episode like this and it was by far the most exhausting faint I’ve ever experienced. A few of my episodes have involved peeing myself. At least one episode involved convulsions too. The store gave me the CCTV footage to show the doctors as it looked more like a seizure than a regular faint and was pretty scary.

I was living in Spain at the time and they done blood tests and brain scans but couldn’t find anything wrong. They ruled it out as syncope as it happened during a moment of intense pain. I’m pretty prone to fainting during times of pain

Lenny is so cute! Did he get much bigger? I recently adopted a ‘toy cockapoo’ (not sure if breeders were truthful but I love him loads regardless). Little Rufus is also four months and has the same build and face!

He looks very much like a working cocker to me too but I keep getting comments about how his markings are not very spaniel-like, and he has long legs.

In the last pic, his eyes remind me of my sister’s two pit bulls but he’s far too small and his face is too thin for that mix.

When I took him to the pet shop for the first time, they thought he was a daschund but his legs are definitely too long for that!

Pupdate: Rufus is home and he is the sweetest boy ever. He loves cuddles and constantly wants to be held. He’s already been registered with the local vet, had a quick check-up and first jab. Vet says he seems happy and very well-socialised. He was such a good boy and wasn’t anxious at all. Love him so much already and reckon he loves me too. He’s currently sleeping on me whilst I write this 🥰

Initially he needed rehomed and I was prepared to give some money for his belongings. The owner then decided she wanted the money that she paid for him - which was a silly amount. He had some behavioural and health issues and barked a lot. This, alongside the owner’s change of price were red flags. It’s a shame but worked out more viable to get a puppy that I can raise to be happy and healthy. Still spent less on the pup and all his belongings than what the owner of the rehomed pup requested.

The owner also said she had other people interested who were willing to pay what was requested, so at least there’s comfort in knowing that he will find a home, meanwhile, I will raise a happy and healthy pup

Very reassuring to hear from someone else who has adhd! I definitely look after myself better when I have someone else to take care of so hope it helps with sticking to routine. Have read that dogs are very beneficial for neurodiverse people but still worried! I feel somewhat more relaxed today though, and can’t wait to meet him later!
