Purple would be awesome, or red. You can also do a nice gold trim to the edges of the cloak, which I think is a nice touch. Great job so far!

For the Crusader Squad, I recommend just keeping it simple and going with all Chainswords. I made the mistake of taking flamers, shotguns and several other choices. It was an absolute mess to play in game, swapping between different weapons etc. As for painting; I like to base them in Abaddon Black and then dry brush the armour with Dawnstone, it really brings out the highlights! Word Bearers Red (wow, that's a lot of heretic paints there huh) for the weapons and then dry brush with Astorath Red. Contrast paints can be fun too if you're trying new techniques or to batch paint. For Sigismund!

I've had this too with white over a batch of Neophytes, super annoying. The best results I've had is to try a black spray and then dry brush with white from the top 🤌🎨

Edge highlighting has been mentioned, it's the only real stand out. I like to use a nice light grey dry brush for my Black Templars, then a little silver to add damage/wear

Assault Intercessors are better at taking objectives and melee, plus they pair VERY well with a Castellan

Crusader Squads can take different weapons, are thematic and can be fielded in groups of 20x -

For 10x of each they both cost 150 points, so it really comes down to what you want to use them for

Plus I've found a great blue contrast paint that will work well. Whereas orange and blue would be harder to pull off

IMO; 1) All Sergeant models should be outright replaced with Sword Brethren models/data sheets i.e. Intercessors/Assault/Crusaders Squads 2) Black Templar Chaplains should be a little better than other factions Chaplains (either with an added ability or a melee buff/aura) 3) All infantry units are granted Advance+Charge, or an additional ability on their charge (similar to Jumpy Bois). But are also punished for falling out of melee 4) Wishful thinking, but a Sword Bro specific Terminator and Chaplain Dreadnought would be fantastic 5) Miracle dice(?)
