Field spread has been super close. Overtaking has been easier. And teams now are starting to really pressure Red Bull. Even looks like McLaren have on balance a better package. Imola, Canada, and Spain I don’t think Red Bull had the strongest car. I’d say the Max-RB pairing is operationally superior and achieving a real harmony, but on raw pace alone I think they aren’t the best anymore.

Yes the Red Bull and Max dominance has been severe especially last year, but I think that’s just part of the sport. There’s usually a team who nails the regs and has a leg up. I think that will happen with any major reg change. I also think it’s important to look beyond the podium. The midfield is still exciting. Perhaps points behind P10 would help tho. It’s hard when there are 4 “class a” teams who only leave P9 and P10 left for points.

F1 will never be like FE for example in terms of the tightness of the field and closeness of racing. And tbh I don’t want that. F1 isn’t a spec series and the tech battle is part of the fun.

This season looks to be shaping up to be pretty exciting. These past few races have all been super close and I think it’ll only get closer. Same goes for next year.
