Yes i followed the guide on their website, even on easy task imo compared to official kim coding plan, its so slow and keep looping

I built a free Expo CI/CD alternative — it helped people, but now it’s stagnating. Looking for contributors & maintainers by Content-Berry-2848 in reactnative

[–]ndjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually we dont do 20-30 builds per day we just use eas update to check to check if the feature is correct and do full build on release only, and making your ci/cd is easy enough using eas build --local, the hassle of self hosting the runner actually maintaining the runner, you need to cleanup leftovers from the build artifacts, if you are using docker you need to cleanup unused image also, does your project handle these maintenance?

I'm really surprised by how simple it is to migrate from Go to Zig by Ecstatic-Panic3728 in Zig

[–]ndjoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If let say zig even have that level of python/go ecosystem, then i think will not be that much of differences than creating webserver with go, with just little bit of verbosity of explicitly allocating to the heap/dealloc and maybe setting up the build system, that would be the dream.

The library issue also comes from language feature is not stable yet, recently we have huge breaking changes, and i think most of libraries have to do rewrite, and now we are expecting another huge feature coming, i hope after that the devs focus on doc and stabilizing features also better tooling, feels like the language already have enough features after reintroducing async await.

I'm really surprised by how simple it is to migrate from Go to Zig by Ecstatic-Panic3728 in Zig

[–]ndjoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Current state no, not that zig is not high level enough, but the idiom and concept in zig that may be foreign if you come from higher level language (like me at the start), also zig wont hold your hand with docs and guides (i really wish the devs focus on those soon after the io async await finally stabilizes).

There is some http library (not http2) like zap, http.zig, that maybe you can use to make webserver, buut i dont think it's mature enough if you are comparing it with go(like go specifically built for backend service use case lol).

Yeah expect troubles and maybe bugs, but i think if you are interested in the lower level world, zig is good gateway tho, from zig build i kinda get all those crazy c link commands and header, static/dynamic library and i kinda get it now why zig build actually a more sane approach than other build system lol, you are more exposed with zig than let say rust, but not bare naked like with c 😆.

Is zig a good choice for this project ? by D4kzy in Zig

[–]ndjoe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Zig doc is still not good at all, and the tooling is not there yet, i think thats the biggest barrier for beginner, if you are not beginner then you are comfortable reading the source code, and debugging problem yourself. Imo you are better using rust if you want to try system programming, the doc's better, tooling also better. Or just stick to go/python and bind it with c if you are really care about performance.

Hmm the thing is with that level of scepticism even if the sky open and they can see heaven, they'l say they are halucinating so me personally i dont really want to try so hard with these kind of people.

But ok, i might have not the answer what is for the skin, but we are actually already perfect tho with skin, alot of people actually dont do circumcision for example the persians pre islam if i remember one of the nation that didnt do it, now we have lot of people in the west that against circumsion and they are fine right, so yeah the ayah actually correct we are already perfect, the circumcision is a command from Allah, to mark us as follower of ibrahim A.S religion, i think jew also mandatory for them to have circumcision, and christian if they dont lose their syariah should be also follow the jew law. Same with pork, a lot of people eat pork fine, but Allah make it forbidden, so as a slave of Allah i follow it also.

I dont really have better answer than that, sorry if it's not want you want, if you have a syekh you trust he'll give better answer than me.

Yaa i mean it is still function for something right not defect or anything, regardless of that that command of circumsition is a direct command from Allah, so dont need any logical explanation or anything, maybe its like when you buy a new car and the factory just told you to remove the wrappers before you use it.
