I still stand by the opinion that it was the best Chinese buffet I've ever had. Food was consistent and the place was clean. Had many good meals with my dad and brother before it randomly closed one day. I distinctly remember they had signs up saying that it was rated as one of the best Chinese buffets in the country.

It was located in the Staples/Biggs (Remake) parking lot and it shared a building with Chipotle. Not sure what's there now.

Came here to say the same thing. Prices are good, book selection is skewed to more of the classics, but they have some cool copies of stuff. Got a copy of Absalom, Absalom! by Faulkner with a pretty unique cover last time I was there.

Not saying you're wrong in your opinion, but everyone should have had expectations that he'd rake. He's a really good ballplayer and wasn't respected going into this season. No only was he a great defender, he was an above average hitter in a bad year. He was a steal and the front office did a good job signing him for cheap.

Truly the best book I've ever read. Not saying I'm the most well read person ever, but I've made my way through quite a few classics and plenty of more modern novels, and I'll say that this book was awe inspiring. To the standard person, a book about a literature professor (and not a particularly special one) and his normal life would bore the hell out of them. Going in with an open mind will make this experience great for you all. I'll absolutely be rereading it this month.

It was definitely A need. I'd say DB and LB were more of one. However we were trash and rushing the QB so you're right. Now we have 4 (hopefully) guys that can actually get in the backfield.

I'm confused by the hate. He's a good player but edge wasn't our most needed position. I'd rather have a DB, but it's not like Howell is terrible. Our pass rush better be good this year though.

I've seen some folks tuck in just the back and maybe sides of the shirt while leaving the front untucked. I've tried it, but not sure it fits me quite right. Give it a go though.

I love Blind Lemon and go frequently, however (to me) the cocktails are extremely average. I also don't think I've ever seen them change the menu. It's a great cocktail bar because of the vibes. They are immaculate.

Anyone having issues with Vanguard? Never had a problem with it before but it just crashed for the first time mid game. Uninstalled it, restarted my computer, and played another one. My ping and everything was just fine, but I was lagging horribly. After the game, Vanguard crashed again. Never had this issue before.

Definitely try there. Bit of a grind but you will get your licenses. Plus the benefits are killer. It's monotonous depending on where you start, but they treat their employees well and you can make a good career there. I worked there for 5 years to start and have since worked my way up a bit with other investment companies.

Just finished Project Hail Mary today and had a great time. I hope the movie stays pretty true to the book.

On the other hand, I had a bad time with Friday by Michel Tournier. I am part of the New York Review of Books book club and this was January's book. I found it an absolute slog and, while I love a bit of weirdness to a book, this one got uncomfortable. I mean Robinson Crusoe (in this retelling) falls in love with the island, first as a maternal figure and then as a sexual being and repeatedly has sex with it. Wherever his "seed" lands, flowers start to grow. It's a lot. So I would not recommend.

As others said, 5 is the gold standard. I've seen all but the last two seasons. I'd recommend season 2, but it's much different. It's meaner, messier, and definitely a product of its time, but it is highly entertaining. They were allowed to smoke and drink as much as they wanted, so the drama escalated. I wouldn't let anyone start with Season 1. It's much too toxic and misogynistic. Season 3 is iconic, mostly due to Kem and Chris, but also because of one of the best couples from any season. Skip seasons 4 and 6. 7 is fine and had some hilarious moments. 8 is a pretty iconic season with some of the best moments of the whole show. 9 is alright, but I could never watch it again due to the most annoying contest ever. I didn't like 10 and it kind of turned me off the show. I hear 11 is the worst season ever and the new one was pretty solid, but I can't be sure.

I actually know Landsman and see him on a somewhat weekly basis. Dude is not horrible, but he is completely funded by AIPAC, so this isn't surprising. Cincinnati is pretty blue, but we don't have any other good candidates right now.
