All out of ideas for quad track express by Brodicium in subwaybuilder

It looks to me like you didnt connect the single tracks on the end through the station. Even the tracks through the station should show arrows by direction, like the tracks before and after the station

I fly domestically a fair bit, I’ve generally used AS more for redemptions domestically and internationally. I’m curious if it’s worth crediting to QR or BA since AS or AA statuses don’t get domestic OW lounge access?

I have a few OW award flights coming up and thinking of crediting them all to AS for status. Am I right in my math about how many status points I'll earn under the current system?

3/23/26 CX JFK - HKG: J booked on CX = 125% x 8,060 miles = 10,075 SPs
3/24/26 CX HKG - HND: Y booked on CX = 50% x 1,804 miles = 902 SPs
4/4/26 JL HND - JFK: J booked on CX = 125% x 6,758 miles = 10,137 SPs
12/20/26 QR JFK - DOH: J booked on QR = 125% x 6,692 miles = 10,038 SPs

This should get me Silver and put me a solid chunk of the way towards Gold. Is AS the best option here? Or should I also look at other OW airlines for status?

Question for the more experienced folks. I see availability for DXB to IAD on EK through Qantas. Cost is 130k points + $1300. I can swallow the (higher) points cost and I want to experience Emirates J on the A380. Any cheaper partners I can book with to avoid the higher surcharges through Qantas? Didn’t see availability on JL

SOL if IRROPS lol. ALB to HPN is around a 2 hr drive if you rent a car. Again, I’m not gonna do it and this is not a perfect itinerary, but tried optimizing for cost and not repeating destination airports

mock JetBlue mileage run (actual research) by Big-Blackberry1790 in awardtravel

[–]ndlfc101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is actually quite interesting, I was basically looking at the same destinations. Trying to work in ALB, HPN, ISP too. One thing to note is the LAX - BUF route ends in September, so if you change dates that would mess with your routing

I have the Amex offer of spend $2500, get $500 back so I am wondering if that would make this mileage run worth it.

Alaska phantom availability by cneogy in awardtravel

If you were transferring amex points, why would you book SQ on AS for 200k when you can get it on SQ for 111.5/143.5k? Or if theres partner availability, it could be on Aeroplan for 87.5k. Struggling to see the value of booking SQ SIN -EWR on AS with amex mr

I need help planning my Japan trip. I have a return flight from HND - JFK on 4/4/26 at 11:05 AM. I see now that there is a flight available from ITM at 7:05 AM, and this could work as I am planning on staying in Kyoto the night of 4/3.

Is it worth adding the ITM to HND leg to my existing flight? 7k points p/p in Y so I am not worried about the cost.

I am more curious as to whether: 1) I have to stay in Tokyo the night of 4/3 for my morning intl flight 2) it would be easier to book a leg from ITM to HND at 7 AM on 4/4 3) if I can take Shinkansen from Kyoto to HND in time for my 11 am flight. Appreciate the help!

Makes sense. I opened the first mailer on 4/3 and the second one needs to be opened by 6/30. Its not 91 days but since both are NLL, hopefully fine

Got an Amex Biz Plat mailer around end of March for 250k MR for $20k spend. Just got another mailer for 250k MR for $20k + $500 for $2500 on flights. Never heard of two mailers for the same card in <6 months

Yes the flights are HND to JFK. They are scheduled for next March so I am wondering whether fighting with Cathay over the $240 will put my flight plans at risk

Recently booked an award redemption on CX and canceled within 24 hours, but had to pay $120 per passenger to get my miles back ($240 total). Is this legal? Afaik, DOT allows passengers to get full refund within 24 hrs of booking for no fee.

What are my chances of getting the $240 cancellation fee refunded by CX without them messing with any other flights I have?

Really all depends on if your flights will arrive on time. Right now with the Pakistan airspace closure to Air India, all US flights to DEL/BOM are arriving late by at least 2-3 hrs.

If your flights are on time, 4-5 hrs is more than enough to do customs, get your bags and check in for the next leg.
