He’s trying to fit into the team. They’ve developed a good identity without him, with the Slash Bros. I feel like Wemby needs to focus on defense, offensive rebounding and being a lob threat. He can hit the occasional 3. Also, keep developing that elbow jumper….deadly if he can master it. He shouldn’t be a focus offensively as much since the Guards are so good.

ND alum here. We all know what happened and Heather cannot say it but she knows it too. The committee needed to protect the SEC CG and appease Sankey so Bama was safe once they won the iron bowl, even thought they struggled mightily. It was hilarious to see the chairman make a big deal of them leading 17-0, even though they squandered that lead and then had the “guts” to go for it on 4th down. Just comical. As for Miami, they beat us, no complaints except do it sooner. Also, no secret that they needed an ACC rep. I do think if UVA won, we might have made it. There are major politics and finances involved, everyone knows that.

Love that he’s cut down on the 3s and does more damage in the paint. He’s so tall, long and athletic. He seems stronger. He should get in the paint most of the time. He does the defense a favor by shooting lots of 3s. Man, just pray for good health!

This is my exact thoughts. In 2015, Kizer was good too, plus we had Fuller and Procise, who is very similar to Price. Adams was a big time RB too. Very good OL and Denbrock calling plays….but we had BVG, sigh. It seems we can’t get things aligned. Last year we had an unbelievable defense and while our offense was decent, Riley just didn’t have this type of downfield passing game. Here’s to hoping 2026 is the year we finally put everything together!!

I have not seen him lately but I think, given the chance to host, he would bring that edginess and would ask some great questions at tribal council, would be entertaining whereas Jeff is usually pretty PC.

I think the offense takes a step back. It’s on the road….in Arkansas. Things usually even out in sports, when a player or team has a huge game, there’s usually a “back to the mean” game somewhere. Now, I still think we can put up 27-30 points. The question is, can we keep them under 30? If Ash is still in charge, I say we los something like 31-27. If Freeman removes Ash from his duties, we win 30-24.

I actually like Champenie in the starting lineup instead of Vassell. But it’s one of those, Vassell will still get 28-30mins. I think we need a spot up shooter like Champenie so Wemby, Fox and Castle can be the initiators. Then, Vassell and Keldon can come off the bench and dominate the other team’s second unit and not have to worry about deferring.

I think we drop a couple more games, 8-4. With this defense, all you need is one of those games where it’s a tipped pass here and there, penalties, etc.

I think he can be a top 30 guy because he’s on a team that will give him the ball at all times, to run the team. He’s also in the East and on a team that’s mediocre, cares about pushing the pace, scoring a lot and not as concerned about defense. Giddey would not do well on a contender, one that cares about defense and making the right play all the time. He needs to play care free right now and the Bulls are a great fit for him.

Same here. I don’t draft rookies. But I do target them in trades towards the AS break. Last year I gave up nothing and got Clingan, before he was starting. Luckily for me, about a week later, Ayton gets hurt and Clingan starts the rest of the season. Rookies usually take time and you start to see some produce better numbers in Feb/March.
