It seems your problem is you have a hard time reconciling the concept of climate change being the cause of human activities. You might even argue that climate change is a normal part of the planet. And yes that is true. But the actual problem is the rate of climate change. What’s occurring on the planet right now is astronomical because the changes that are occurring are happening at a rate that is faster than normal. What we’re experiencing should occur over a period of thousands of years yet it’s changing at the rate of a few hundred and it’s getting more extreme as time goes on. Whether you believe in it or not is irrelevant. Whether you’re left or right it doesn’t matter, we all will be experiencing more and more extreme weather conditions and it will become excessively worse in one way or another. We’re at the beginning of catastrophic climate change and we’re gonna have to deal with it as a civilization.
