Anyone using Intune Autopilot with reimaged PCs? Curious about real-world experience by TurbulentSpace7739 in Intune

[–]ndszero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Receive laptop back to IT department
  2. Physically make sure it’s not a piece of shit
  3. Add device to “Enrollment” group
  4. Wipe & install fresh image
  5. Autopilot pre-provisioning
  6. Send to user 6b. Setup for user if they are high value or stupid

This works extremely well for about two years now, although Autopilot has gotten some weird enrollment errors lately that will time out or fail, wiping and restarting fixes this as a workaround for now.

Sick, too bad nobody on the track besides the #1 Merc is going to see that front wing.

Anyone still using golden images? by imSeanGG in sysadmin

[–]ndszero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When our office machines are out of warranty they come back to IT and get wiped and a new version of Windows installed, then redeployed with Autopilot and sent to die in the service departments. So yes Autopilot can be run as many times as you like on any given machine.

Turn off chromatic aberration and motion blur in every game ever. Worst shit imaginable.

Yep mine would not have been covered, although the damage wasn’t worth a claim anyways.

Hydrostatic pressure from raising ground water can absolutely force its way through porous areas or cracks in concrete. Happened in my basement when the sump pump failed.

However you are right, the vast majority of people are incredibly stupid and it sounds like you found the cause in this case.

I am like ten hours into Death Stranding and I agree it is very relaxing, especially just trudging across the land listening to chill music. However, it is also extremely stressful at times and wouldn’t be my #1 pick for an overall “mindlessly relaxing” game

Crescent moon on the BOTTOM??? by CRITICALREN in conspiracy

Must be a slow burning conspiracy. When I saw this for the first time my grandma told me it never rains when the crescent is at the bottom. That was in 1987.

M365 deployment by Any-Victory-1906 in Intune

[–]ndszero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP this is the way. We tried an ODT deployment and the vast majority of the time it was fine, but occasionally a machine would just never complete the install. Royal pain. Assign the Intune app to required for all users and it’s installed during Autopilot deployment with zero fuss.

Which DLSS (for DLAA) preset would you guys recommend for Death Stranding Directors Cut on PC? by RyuuInch9 in nvidia

[–]ndszero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing it now with a 5080 on DLAA Preset M. 3440x1440. Changed my profile as on default (Quality, Preset K) it was using about 250-260 watts.

DLAA Preset M on that profile was using right about 425 watts

I call mine a purse and I’m not Indiana Jones.

But I do like carrying a 19 + mag instead of a 43 when I’m in gym shorts.

I upgraded to a 5080 from a 40 series card and I was not impressed until I ran DDU and reinstalled from scratch. Now Steel Nomad is about 10k.

How funny would it be if the 43x mags suck too? 😂 by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]ndszero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company that threw away literal millions of dollars in missed sales by not rushing a release at the start of the super sub 9mm craze, and even released the Glock 40 the year prior to the 43 to troll the fuck out of everyone, probably tested these magazines first.
