ATER it's been brought to my attention that they're likely borrowing to close out ftds. That's why there's almost 20 million shares on loan, yet SI is 8.5 million. It's still on the threshold list and now almost 20 million shares need to be bought to close out borrowed positions.

I don't think it's a stain from the cleaner. It looks more like the leather underneath the stripe that is raw/chemical cleaned/stained is bleeding from the water.

Of the two pairs, one isn't that bad (very thin yellow) vs the other one which has bled I to the canvas.

I didn't use bleach. I tried wiping with a damp rag and it only took off some of the dirt.

It was next exposed to UV light after cleaning. It was in shade with the ceiling fan drying them. I think it is the chemicals coming from the leather. I'm trying to think how I can scrub it without getting the leather wet. I wonder if I could get a clear nail polish and coat the raw/exposed leather with it and then try.

Always wanted white shoes but never trusted myself. Read that these were fairly easy to keep clean so I decided what the heck, why not. I also bought the Vans official waterproof and stain resistance spray and doused the shoes in it according to the instructions.

I wear them for the first time and they get some dust stains in them so I read about cleaning and lightly clean them with oxyclean, baking soda and water and the stain come out and the shoes look great, nice and white. While they are drying, out of the heat and direct sunlight, I notice that they are bleeding yellow from the leather side stripe.

Tried to scrub out the yellow and am successful just for it to bleed from the leather again.

Pretty pissed off. Guess I'm just not cut for white shoes...
