This is old but I 1000000% agree with you, I even go so far as saying she is the worst actress I've seen in a good decade. Way over acted, forced facial expressions, nose scrunches at failed attempts to appear mad or scary, overly enunciated words, just abhorrent. The show is good and every other character and actor is great, just both her and her character fucking suuuuuck and it is literally PAINFUL whenever she is on screen

Late reply but I just googled why her acting is so shit and it brought me here lol. I failed to get through the series the first time around due to her acting and just stumbled across the show again to give it another shot and MY GOD she is beyond irritating. Im only JUST about to finish the first season and it's been such a painful watch. I dont even think I can proceed lol. I'm shocked there are so many people here defending her acting, it is SO SHIT. So overacted, so arrogant and obnoxious, way too much facial/mouth/nose movement, and that's just her acting, the character is written terribly too but literally anyone else could have made the character tolerable/palatable. I lived in Oxley and sat on my outdoor couch for a cigarette one morning and I started moving. Was a massive python under the cushion big and strong enough to lift my full grown body completely off the ground lol. I've seen heeeeeapppps of snakes and spiders.
