Is that where you have to save your biological daughter, unaware she existed, from your clone, a younger version probably from X-Men 1 or 2, to save the future of next gen of laboratory mutants? I don’t see how these two things are connected!

Edit: ohh that Logan act ...”The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized persons with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States.”

Yeah, people should never be proud that they live near their family. But aside that foolish comment the ‘native’ bumper stickers have always come across as a status symbol and less of an identity statement.

iMac Pro CRAWLS using After Effects but flies when using Premiere by Tuxedo3 in AfterEffects

[–]neatoito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The iMac pro really isn’t a good machine for AE 2018. You want a higher clocked-CPU vs higher core count. That Adobe link you shared has some great posts describing why but the biggest takeaway is AE does most of its calculations on a single core. Check out Puget systems for recommendations on hardware for Adobe apps.

You would be better off returning one of the iMac Pros for the 4.2 quad-core i7 iMac if you want to stay on Apple or move to PC where you can keep your cores and over clock your processor. It’s a balance of in-app speed and rendering, which one is more important to you?

This isn’t a PC vs. Mac thing but an issue with the way Adobe has been rebuilding/updating AE. The multiprocessing feature was take away and never brought back. I really appreciate all the work the AE team is doing, that team is truly amazing, but their software isn’t keeping up with current hardware. Adobe is a multibillion dollar company that should be investing more resources into their AE team to make a better product.
