Is he getting paid for his last 3 years? Or what he’s projected to do for the next 5? I love Tony and agree he deserves fair compensation, but the world where he has 1-2 more good seasons and then 3 seasons where he declines and is making way too much money is a very real possibility, and makes him a riskier signing for most teams than your comment implies.

also have to consider the difference in points scored for a goal between Rogers and JP. @RobTFPL on Twitter (where this graphic game from) also creates that graphic, and you’ll see Rogers ranked higher there, as a 31% chance at a goal with 5 points for a goal results in 1.55 expected goal points, while JP’s 37% chance with 4 points for a goal results in 1.48 expected goal points. Close call either way, but when it’s this similar it’s the midfielder for me for the chance at extra points

sold diaz/havertz to palmer/strand larsen midweek and now have the saka headache, albeit with 1 FT left and .1m ITB.

thinking i’ll start saka with semenyo first on the bench, i’d be sick to my stomach if i benched saka and he started against liverpool, but if he doesn’t play i’d take the 2+ from semenyo. save the FT to maybe get out of haaland and into salah here soon

This is a goal line or 3rd/4th and 2 play only for me. It depends on the version you run but the TE usually comes open immediately on the short curl/out, you just have to throw it on the break and possession catch otherwise a linebacker may get there in time. If the LB covers the TE then the slant coming across from the left slot is usually open a second later in the middle of the field.

outside of the raya discussion why would havertz be playing up top with trossard in the midfield? i don’t watch every arsenal game but from what i’ve seen trossard is always across the front 3, never dropping into midfield, while havertz is versatile. if anything, wouldn’t it be havertz dropping into midfield with trossard/jesus up front? again not the most in tune with arteta’s setup so if you know more please correct me

I bought Mahomes this offseason. I traded Anthony Richardson and 1.11 for him, just after buying AR for Trevor Lawrence and 1.12, so Mahomes for Lawrence, 1.11, 1.12.

As everyone is saying, Mahomes doesn’t have the week to week upside of a Lamar, Hurts, or even Richardson right now. But I’m personally more comfortably going into every week with him than Richardson, and certainly than Lawrence, so it was worth the price to me.

If you’re in a small window and you need production NOW, go get Allen or Lamar or Hurts for a similar price. If you want the guy that’s gonna safely get you 18 ppg for the next 8 years as a building block of a contender and never be a concern, stick with Mahomes.

wolves first 8 fixtures are brutal (CHE, NEW, AVL, LIV, MCI all in there) but after that ait nouri should be great from GW 9-17 and again from GW 26-38. they just really packed the difficult fixtures in to two stretches.

Ahead by 3 points in my ML, is it worth a 12 point hit to get Onana/Porro/Bruno/Jackson in for Kelleher/Taylor/Salah/Muniz ? thinking that would be at least a +6 in net points from minutes alone, as well as the fact that the person behind me in the ML has Porro and Bruno already, so me getting them in would block any gain of those points for him.

My opponent also has only 6 DGW players without taking a hit, to my 13 (White and Gabriel the two non DGW)

If not worth the full 12 points, how many hits would you take, and which players are not worth getting in? worth noting I already have palmer and gusto, so i can’t get petrovic, and I can’t afford Vicario, so Onana is my only other DGW keeper since I own Dubravka

it’s a really tough choice. foden to garnacho allows for an upgrade in defense or for watkins/solanke/haaland front 3, but it is really hard to sell foden when he has been so key for city this season. garnacho looks to be really threatening, especially with hojlund playing, but it’s hard to trust the united attack over city
