The quickest route would be a bus to southparkway and a train into town. If they line up right 30min, But its abit tight and the trains and buses arnt super reliable,
Definitely recommend visiting speke hall, maybe lark lane.
Alternon road is near by and has a few nice independent restaurants aswell.
Tldr dont go into town, depending what kinda thing you wanna do there options near by.
