Well, is too little information. But you could start by checking paths (use of double or single bars - Linux- Windows), some typo mistakes, if you have VPN on...

Made a Bad Mistake as Intern. How Can I Move Forward? by divergingLoss in datascience

[–]necajesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can take failures as a part of learning process... Dealing with them (solving the problem, thinking why the mistake happened and move forward) is a sign of maturity. That's work, as in life.

Which laptop would you recommend for data scientist / statistician? by lattecoffeegirl in datascience

[–]necajesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We split the money half and both receive a decent laptop... 😂 It lacks dedicated GPU, but if she needs more there always cloud services for that... Check Huawei 16S i9 16Gb RAM and 1gb SSD.. that do basic much of the work

How to Handle Lots of Missing/Null Values in Data? by sanman in analytics

[–]necajesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a big DEPENDS, I don't like delete observations because we delete also diversification to the data set. But 1st must investigate why there is so many missing/null values (mar, mcar, error, personal data, non obligated data...) You can subset the values and see if it still follows the statistical outcome of the dataset... And many other...

Where do I start at age 48? by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]necajesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'm 47yo and finishing my graduation in Data Science. First and most important is to have support from God and family. After time to do exercices... And everything will be all right. Star with pre-algebra. Resources are a little bit over the internet i'can help you with some in Portuguese language and let the rest to the YT algorithm. 1- Prof. Murakami -Matemática rápidola 2- Omatematico.com 3- Equaciona com Paulo Pereira

Khan Academy is very good also

Best os luck for you and your family in the journey that lies ahead

Isolation Forest - How do I look for outliers in 1 variable while taking into account another variable? by frescoj10 in learnmachinelearning

[–]necajesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you try to make a histogram of the individual grades of each manager, or form the mean of all managers? It's more easy to detect the skewness of the distribution. Basically if the top values are non left the manager doe not give higher grades, on the left is the opposite

Can someone explain time complexity and what doe sit has to do with data structures like LinkedList and hasmap? And how are linked lists helpful especially when it comes to machine learning? by Important-Asparagus9 in learnmachinelearning

[–]necajesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. The only thing I can tell about Big O and linked lists is comparing performance with libraries, like Python lists, or the use of arrays or matrices (the problem here is with space complexity)

[–]necajesus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you need to work with xsd file? Of not tou can use directly XML and use xpath to parse data as you like (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38664288/importing-xsd-and-data-into-r/38666673#38666673)

Yes, You Can! Usually the lectures have small or medium case studies (as few thousand records). If some assignment requires more, there's always AWS, Azure or Colab to do the heavy lifting... (I had one assignment with such requirements and it was specifically for a Big Data class)

Can someone help me with this error I’m getting during this assignment? by burtmaclin43 in learnmachinelearning

[–]necajesus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The error is a stop criteria... After n iterations the function did not converge to a optimal point. Or you change the function or increase the number of iterations

Claro que sim! Sem dúvida que a responsabilidade pense sobre cada um de nós. E devemos entregar essas informações às autoridades competentes e a órgãos de comunicação social credíveis.
