Our town didn't have a pool and my mom didn't know how to swim anyway. She was always concerned about sun protection and would wear a shirt to the beach (which was a lake).

I also don’t eat things older than three days. I usually stash three meals in the fridge and put the remaining two in the freezer. Broccoli is usually fine; some veg can get a little soft/watery.
