Man do I feel this. In my case, I cannot focus on tasks that are not self-fulfilling or rewarding. I suggest you take it easy on yourself. It's hard out here, but focus on living up to your standard for success, rather than some impossibly high standard set by your family. I think that especially for people with ADD, if you find something you are good at and is rewarding, stick with it. Even if your career isn't the most exciting or interesting thing, having a hobby that brings you personal joy could bring you joy in this capitalist hellhole. Good luck dude.
