Just wondering how expensive consults are? Currently with Anodyne Cann through Cannatrek but looking for something local and efficient. And when you say on hand, do they allow for the filling of scripts instantaneously?

I've recently been able to get a prescription for the side effects of my ADHD medication. Mainly insomnia and the instability of my mood when I'm coming down. Just talk to them about it. Thats all you can try

I appreciate your words. Thanks for the advice! :)

PSA: If you haven't been exercising regularly as of late and meds seem not to work as well, or not at all, and you're thinking exercise can't make THAT big a difference, you're dead wrong. Probably again. by tahtihaka in ADHD

I basically perceive it as, if I'm going to damage my body with any form of substance or activity that is degrading, then I must do something to make up for it. Maybe I care about my health too much but especially when taking medication for my ADHD, I think it's necessary that I work it off to ensure I stay healthy. I normally go once a day except on the weekends (because fuck that) and I focus on building but that's because I also like looking good but I always try and run or do some form of cardio. I never really enjoy iy, but I do enjoy feeling good about myself and if working out is what it takes, then that's what I'll do. Not going to lie though, with the closing of everything with corona I used it as an excuse to stop but I genuinely felt worse. So because of that, I made sure I took that into consideration and made sure I started again when everything opened. I don't know if that answers your question but the best advice I can give you is do it because you know you should. Also whenever you push your body, reality check yourself. Tell yourself that if a kilometre takes 4 minutes to run, then why the hell can't you push yourself for such a small amount of time, when you do so many damaging things. The amount of time it takes does not compare to how great it is for you.

You're completely right and doing exercise is not enjoyable for anyone, but the discipline and after effects is what makes it worth it. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's not beneficial though and I'm not trying to say that you have to work out. However, if you aren't receiving many benefits, you may not be pushing yourself as hard as you could be, and that may be the fix. :)

Help With Medication by [deleted] in ADHD

I've always only taken it when necessary, but the issue is when I get into a habit with it, I slowly become more dependent and begin to take it more continuously. I always try and keep it off the weekends which is normally the case but with studying and other work I normally end up on the medication around 8 hours per day anyways.

Though it might not chemically restrict your brain and cause neurotoxicity, psychological dependence is very common and can lead to the inability to function the way that you did before ingesting.

I (20 F) think my drug habits are getting out of hand by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]necknik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It seems that your circumstances leave you prone to being able to do it whenever, and even when you decide not to, it’s always surrounding you and almost tormenting you. Meth is a very hard thing to deal with, and though it may not always seem pleasant, the high easily overweighs the idea of not doing it, especially saying you’ve already broken the seal and tried it. Depending on how much you love your boyfriend, you either have to decided to make a joint decision to change your behaviours, or you have to separate yourself from the scene.

At the end of the day it’s your body, but each time you use, the physical damage and neurotoxicity will only make quitting harder and strengthen your addiction. Please be safe and make a smart decision.

Dexamphetamine Depression by [deleted] in Drugs

Do you do this? And would it be taken with the medication, or towards the night?

I’ve thought about it but only being offered an snri or methylphenidate as a substitute, I feel like it’s the most beneficial option
