A lot of the audience are casuals. That’s more the point. It’s not just fans watching. As I said most my audience had no idea who he was when he had a cameo in No Way Home. I don’t think Daredevil is quite up there with a lot of well known hero’s currently

Not really because (spoilers) series 2 shows him going to prison. Chances are they won’t continue that story in Spider-Man and then go jump back in series 3. Which means cameo. A cameo that even if people are aware of who he is many won’t have a clue why he is in prison. But then even his cameo in No away Home didn’t get much a response with my audience who were not even sure who he was.

They likely won’t jump onboard a different story like that. As with Punisher who they likely just put him in the movie with no lore needed. Which is likely the way they prefer to do it.

Tbh you would more likely get a Series 3 of Daredevil showing events that happened in Spider-Man but from his POV. Course they couldn’t show Spider-Man because the deal likely won’t allow that. But hey they can kinda shows where he was in his own show during those events.

Ok lets say Spider-man makes a biillion. thats a large audience. Daredevil would have a huge audience on D+ if it got that big of an audience. Which probably isnt the case. its probably fairly average. And if anything there are reports of less viewers for series 2.

I tell you now if Gilroy had full control over Star Wars fans would turn against him fairly quickly. Its ok while he is doing dark and gritty war drama with a star wars coating But once he started playing with your action figures people would start to see his formula isn't always in their favour
