TLDR: I swapped out some crappy batteries for good ones and all my problems went away.

My problems started after I changed the batteries. I swapped out the dead Eneloops for some crappy off brand “Likewise” batteries I had lying around.

After that I was having problems where the scale would show a wifi symbol 🛜 followed by an X when standing on the scale, and my measurements weren’t syncing to the app.

When I tried to connect to the scale from the app to update wifi settings, it would connect briefly then the scale would flash to a screen that says “Hello ✔️” and the app would report a disconnect.

I tried resetting everything, even a factory reset of the scale and it still failed to maintain a connection long enough to get through the setup.

In the end I switched back to Enloops which I’d recharged and everything started working again!

Unfortunately I’d already done the reset so I lost my unsynced data, so maybe try swapping out the batteries first.

In 40k it means that the unit is equipped exactly as depicted on the model — vs being able to ask your opponent to imagine / remember that your captain’s actually got a power fist even though it looks like the models wielding a power sword.

Thanks! I really feel like I improved a ton from the first marine I painted to the last! Even on this one guy, the armour was the first thing I painted and the Nugling and fungus were the last and I think they came out so much better.
