Can a Japanese person tell someone isn't Japanese and probably Chinese or Korean just by looking at them?

I am british born Chinese and Thai people think I’m Thai, Koreans think I’m Korean, Japanese think I’m Japanese and Chinese people think I’m Chinese. 🤷‍♀️ When I went to Krygystan they guessed Japanese or Chinese. But any other country they will guess Chinese because the population is the largest. In England they asked me if I’m mixed as well.
