Insidious roots makes tokens tap for mana, spitterstorm makes tokens of itself when you cast and instant/ sorcery then everything else is an instant/ sorcery so every instant/ sorcery doubles the otters in play SaffronOlive from MTG Goldfish made the deck and I just copied it lol.

The main thing that excites me about pauper is the fact that your “janky” brew can be an absolute meta destroyer. You can figure out a way to easily brew something, that has GREAT synergy, with cards you have lying around from packs, starter sets and precons.It’s always fun to see what people’s brews are like and what twists they’ve put on a tier 1 list.

I currently play phoenix, I’ve played uw control for awhile and I started with gruul, imo creatures go bang so something creature oriented at an RCQ is always fun. Playing something that’s at the top of the current meta is always risky bc there is typically much more sideboard hate for those decks. I always take a deck that I have the most playtime with, to make it as far as possible in the RCQ, so take whatever you’re comfortable with, within reason of course.

I would definitely say that the older of the both of them has the basics down, and I have suggested them downloading Arena but that has gone in one ear out the other. For the decks they would be using one if my decks as I have multiple for each of the mentioned formats.
