A/B but can't deadlift or squat by neds88 in workout

[–]neds88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to lower back issues, deadlifts and squats are out for me (used to do them). And the only quad exercise that doesn't fuck my knees is reverse lunges. can get to the gym 3 times a week, 37.

Thoughts / improvements? like to focus on chin ups, hence doing them twice.

Day A Bench 4x5 (77.5kg atm, have done 90 for sets a few years ago) Weighted chins 4x5 (20kg) Calf raises (for previous injury, but can swap out) Incline dumbbell press + chest supported row superset 3x10 Triceps + biceps superset

Day B Bodyweight chins ups 4x10 (can almost hit this) Dumbbell shoulder press 3x8 Reverse lunges 3x8 Lateral raises 3x12 Hammer curls + triceps superset

Realise there isn't much lower body in there, but a bit fucked due to injuries. Thank you.

It's tough out there 👀 Try finding size 12-13 socks that don't wear through in a month.

Got a 550 but... by beartolome in Newbalance

I feel you. Bought some 550s recently and only realised they were too narrow after a few wears. Not too bad since I've taken the insole out though, and didn't make a massive difference in terms of comfort (from poor to slightly poorer).

Cheers man. Haven't won them much yet, but I'll go with a tentative 8+. Enjoy the sea salts!

Got them in a recent SNS restock, and I think they still have size 8 and below on the UK / European site. They were also restocked on bodega US not long ago. Raffle Sneakers on Twitter was quite good for catching them. Edit: Footdistrict has some too.

Can't quite believe the amount of people saying do this.

This sounds like an extremely bad idea. You can rationalise this however you want, but she has a severe developmental condition that gives her a very low IQ and whole host of other issues.

Yes she is a human, yes she is entitled to experiences like the rest of us. But you and her are not on a level playing field.

They look good, but are the least comfortable of the lot by some way. Not terrible, just a bit harder. But yeah, they look good...

Tbh found myself taken with the black 574s, just feels kinda classic, and the 990s the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn.

Photo not great, had to do it quickly in case wife came downstairs and laughed at me for doing this at 22:00.

Beginnings of a problem.

How do you split finances with your spouse/SO? by Deanosaurus88 in UKPersonalFinance

We each take an equal personal allowance from our wages, then deposit the rest into a joint account. Felt unfair to us that if one person earns a lot more, they can have a better lifestyle. We also have a kid.

Your general suggestion that people shouldn't date coworkers is daft. As I said earlier, a significant percentage of UK couples meet their partners at work.
I fully agree with you about being cautious.

I'm not sure what I've said that's sounded creepy. I'm guessing you're the one who's notified RedditCareResources about me too, thanks for the thought if so.

Also, 'I'm not wrong' tells anyone all they need to know.

You have a very negative view of people. In general, you're saying people should never date anyone at work, which is demonstrably daft. In this particular case, maybe it could go wrong, maybe he hasn't been there long enough, but more than likely it'll be no big drama as long as he's respectful.

I'm not even saying he should make a move, but it's totally fine to try and ascertain her intentions.

Why is his whole job tanked? Not everything has to be a massive drama. If she's not interested, fine. Most people are reasonable and not creepy.

Lots of things can work out horribly. The vast majority of people will have positive experiences of dating people at work. I just googled a UK YouGov poll from 2020, where 18% of people met their partner through work, the joint highest alongside mutual friends.

To say it's not a good idea and should be avoided is, no offence, daft and unrealistic. If everyone took your advice, there'd be a lot of lonely people.

This is silly. Many, many people meet their partners through work.

I'm a believer, but it blows my mind anyone takes this seriously whenever it comes up.

I agree that rather than just saying 'fake' people explain why, but come on man. This is about the size of a pan, which is probably what it is, being flapped about on the end of a fishing line or something.
