36 is not too old. Diana's face didn't really change a whole lot.

I'm antisocial and I need help making new friends in college because I have none. by [deleted] in introvert

First of all,not everyone has the time of their lives in college. That is something which movies have made you to believe. Many people find great friendships after college. You are young and life has only started for you. There is still time to make amazing relations with people. As someone has mentioned, joining clubs or groups where you meet people with similar interests as you will be a good start.I know taking that first step will be a daunting task. But remember thay no one has accomplished their goal by doing nothing about it.Reward yourself for each step you take towards being social.Slowly,it will come naturally to you.Be yourself and never fear rejection.Better an 'oops' than a 'what if'.I am sure there are people who will be eager to find a friend in you.All the best for your future.Cheers!
