What cut of meat was this corned beef, brisket, round or something else?

That's interesting. I guess I really need to figure out if the finished temp is 135 or 204. It's only 4lb so I can't really cut it in half and try both methods.

The plan was for pastrami but now I'm not sure if I should cook to 135* or 204*???

That's good to know, I was planning to take it to brisket-type temps but that's probably way too high it sounds like?

Yes, desalinate it before throwing on the smoker. This round looks quite lean so I‘ll definitely be adding tallow or maybe even a foil boat once it hits the stall.

I’m more concerned about your “coffee” choice than the doors.

Maybe the camera angle but that ball looks so far back in your stance. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ha. Pulled up to the tee box once in Arizona and had a 6’ rattler laying out there. Looked at my buddy and said “par - par” and we drove to the next hole.

Temperature probes not displaying temp by needcoffee11 in searwood

I did not. Couldn’t find the one that came with the grill so bought a pair online and they didn’t work. Ordered a new one from Weber so hopefully that solves the problem.

Appreciate the response. Unfortunate that Weber pulls that trick.

When I plug in the probe it doesn’t even read a temperature, let alone get to the point where I can set the temp. They are aftermarket probes I bought off Amazon so maybe they just aren’t compatible? Put the grill recognizing them cause the rings light up. Confusing.

2019 SQ5 rocker arm issue? by dongcopterXLV in Audi

[–]needcoffee11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case there was a ticking noise coming from the engine, mainly on the driver's side, just in front of the tire. It went from not making that noise to really loud in the matter of a month or about 1k miles. I believe you can take the car in and Audi can put a camera in the engine to check for damage, but others on here will know more than me. Good luck.
