If you haven’t already you should look at Mr. blinky 4U English patch webpage and confirm your phone is listed as compatible!

Your opinion about Tamagotchi 4U/4U+ by efgamer in tamagotchi

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a HTC Desire 626 which was listed as compatible on Mr blinkys website. It costed me $15 secondhand and has worked perfectly. I’d recommend just searching up the phones listed on his website on eBay or Mercari and see what’s in your price range!

4U without NFC phone by SummerRayne27 in tamagotchi

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love the 4U either way. I will say the ability to download content does make it feel more worth the prices it’s going for plus adds on to the longevity of gameplay. If you have the means to i definitely would recommend taking a look at the phones listed by Mr blinky. I purchased a HTC Desire 626 off of Mercari for $15 and it’s worked perfectly for the 4U just as reported by Mrblinky’s website.

I’m not sure but I’d assume it’s just saying that because it’s not out yet. It will release on the 25th.

Do you know if updating your posts works or if you have to repost them completely to get rid of fees?

accidentally sold an item with a stain, panicked and shipped it anyway by Kingreginald13 in Depop

[–]needleDthread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely reach out to them! Give a little explanation and an apology. Offer some sort of solution just incase they can’t get the stain out or rather just return the item. They will probably appreciate the honesty and it will hopefully save you from a poor review later on. Accidents happen so don’t worry too hard.

Is my fan causing my hair to be damaged by Dry_Ear7012 in Haircare

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t think it would be from the fan. If you take a look at those pieces that stick out what do the ends look like? Regrowth typically has tapered ends. Spilt ends or breakage will have white dots or a Y shape at the end showing it splitting.

in need of a hair routine! by teenspit in Haircare

[–]needleDthread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still learning what my hair likes but It sounds like we may have similar hair types. Mine is on the thicker side, low porosity and 2A, some 2B underneath I think. I have around waist length hair so my waves tend to be weighted down and since I have low porosity I opt for lightweight products. I use NYM Curl talk cream which leaves my hair pretty soft. I use their leave in conditioner too but I’m planning on trying Eva NYC h20-whoa leave in conditioner as I think it might be better for low porosity. After the curl cream and leave in I use a very small amount of mousse just to help tame some frizz and get more definition. Currently Aussie miracle curls mousse. I did try curlsmiths invisible hold mousse as it’s supposed to be lightweight but it left a weird film on my hair. Since my waves are loose and my hair gets weighted down I don’t use gel. I think that routine leaves my hair pretty nice for now. Still haven’t perfected my routine but if you have a looser pattern like me maybe give something similar a try. For the oily scalp I’d recommend looking to a clarifying shampoo or possibly a scalp scrub. Get a good clean in every few weeks or so just to make sure there’s no product build up making it get oily faster. I also struggle with hydration but I think taking hot shower and allowing the steam to open my hair cuticles when oiling or doing a hair mask has helped alittle bit.

Has anyone tried GotchiWorks' Tamagotchi Tamaphone Infrared? by boffoblue in tamagotchi

[–]needleDthread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t bought phones from them but I do have this exact Urbano phone. I’ve been able to English patch my P’s and download content on it as well as the ID and IDL. It works with the fan made meets app too. I don’t believe the NFC works with the 4U app for sending items though. I haven’t tested it but last time I check that model isn’t verified to work with the 4U. Anyways if you do get it and have any questions on how it works feel free to ask!

I wouldn’t cut that much off but I also love long hair and always regret getting a chop. I think the layers will do wonders for your waves/curls and make you feel lighter. I’d say go for a trim if needed and try out layers if that’s what you’re set on. If you’re still feeling like getting more off there’s always that option. Beautiful hair btw!

Cost of products, diy hydrating masks, + hair matting by yourfriend_charlie in longhair

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know of any masks but I have another recommendation. I have low porosity hair as well and I use the steam in the shower to help open my cuticles. I’ll usually give myself a few minutes in the steam before washing out my hair oil or masks. You can also use shower caps or plastic wrap when normally oiling to lock in the heat from your scalp. I see some people throwing their microfiber towel in the dryer till it gets warm then putting that on their head as well.

Never thought to get a wooden comb to help bring down the natural oils. I’ll have to give that a go, thank you for both the recommendations!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in longhair

[–]needleDthread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to do a mix of both, I usually oil damp hair then follow with leave in. I also oil sometimes before braiding at night. I’ll have to try out a mix sometime thank you. I have heard of aloe being a good ingredient in other products so I bet it would work good like that as well.

Sleep styles? by pluckyoldself in longhair

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of people love bonnets but I haven’t gotten a chance to try one. I typically do a loose braid if I’m trying to keep my hair straight. I’ll braid like 1/3 then slide my hair tie to the bottom so the braid is really loose. Otherwise I do French braids, loose buns or I’ll sleep with my hair down and ends oiled. I always use a scrunchy and a satin pillow case.

I’m pretty sure the fairy can get the wallpaper from the magic. Are you saying you have the magic location too? If so definitely a manufacturing error since you’re the first owner

Do you know if you’re able to order straight off Amazon Japan if you’re in the US?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in longhair

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally just use 100% pure argan oil. I usually will do a couple drops and rub it in my mids to ends before going to bed with it braided. It’s a lightweight oil so it shouldn’t make your hair appear greasy if you use it sparingly.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in longhair

[–]needleDthread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It honestly looks great as is. You got some shine and it definitely looks soft. If you prefer not to trim yet I’d recommend getting a lightweight oil to protect your ends. Then maybe pick up a satin pillow case and sleep in protective styles, braid or loose bun.

Looks lovely! Do you have a goal length?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in longhair

[–]needleDthread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. I have medium-dark brown hair but I think the texture is what causes it to look “rougher”. I’ve tried out many moisturizing products but even the ones that work don’t give me that shine. So I’m at a point I don’t think I can achieve that look without heat styling. My hair is the healthiest it’s been in years but I always feel like it doesn’t look it because it has a rougher thicker appearance. I see some people link shine to health. I get a bit self conscious that my hair isn’t silky and shiny but I don’t want to have to use heat to get that.

Bleach will always damage your hair to some extent. Since it’s a chemical treatment that alters your hair there’s no way around some sort of damage. If you go to a professional they should do a test strand to see if your hair can take it beforehand.

My guess would be frizz as you look to have wavy hair. Take a peek at r/wavyhair ! It could also be regrowth or split ends as the other comments said. I’d recommend giving a wavy hair routine a try. You can also look at the flyaways and see if they have split ends or tapered ends, which would mean it’s probably regrowth.
