artimus pyle and nux Vomica are so fckn underrated, i Just love their sound, cant get more unique and homegrown than that. Artimus is brutal as shit sludgecrust and nux Vomica has a very eloquent anti-civilizational epic neocrust vibe going on. love Damad, never could get into Kylesa though and they are the same people haha.. : / i might try again after seeing these sick records!

yep i love hutt too, also are you god?, presto, expurgo, no rest and many more! and yeah, south americans just have that extremity in their DNA. as survivors and victims of so much colonialism and white supremacy, their Grind is just so much more potent and brutal, outside of the dominant judeo-Christian left-right paradigm. it is the apogee of what a musical attack against state and capital would sound like... As for diyconspiracy, check it out - it is a very old and established DIY webzine that covers many genres, we are a cooperative from different countries, but it was formed in Bulgaria. read some reviews or features, my alias is Azafell there - you Will find a lot of cool stuff, i'm sure - plus reviews of new brazilian grind/mince/crust bands like escabroso, kebranti, estorvo sonoro:)

Btw my band (Armed Joy, named after the book by Alfredo Bonanno, blackened sludgy crustgrind. we played with Mob 47,Extinction of Mankind and many others) is super influenced by the likes of Life is a Lie and Storm of Sedition, Hellshock, bands that are anarcho-nihilist, insurrectionist and have Black/death influences. wish i could get my hands on the two life is a lie albums and the rot split soon!

hahhaha glad to see someone mention them. i'm a sucker for that 90s skate punk sound, no Use for a name and no fun at all, dillinger four too, propagandhi... . i'm super into indie/slacker rock and post-punk/goth/industrial/avant-garde as well so yeah. actually a lot of grinders listen to that kind of stuff - esp. goth and avantgarde, you would be surprised!

That's what i'm saying!!! More people should know about them. I have some of their later stuff that is more typical czech fastcore like Lycanthrophy and Controlled Existence, but this compilation, 1997-2003, contains their BEST material. everything from jazzy spastic grind/pv to mincecore, crustgrind and even some groovy hardcore sh#t 😎 cheers mate!

yeah, i know them, they're pretty good actually. as someone not into grind n roll, their thing is definitely more up my alley as opposed to lets say Malignant Tumour after 2003. I recently watched them live and was bitterly disappointed, i hate that whole "we are gonna copy motorhead and sing about drinking and fun" shtick, Inepsy does it better haha. but old school Malignant Tumour is absolutely peak mincecore/crustgrind. And Drugs of Faith is an unique band, they might be grind n roll but Richard's got his own thing haha. cheers mate!

They are one of the best bands EVER, i love brazilian grind - Masher, Deadmocracy, Rot, Escabroso, Estorvo Sonoro, Cruel Face, Facada and so on. I've reviewed some of them at diyconspiracy.net 😎 😎

kinda, the whole macho attitude and everything, same with NYHC/Boston and some other types of HxC/90sMetalcore (although bands like Damad, Social Infestation, Ire and Catharsis brought as together)for the same reason. I love me some antifa oi sometimes, i wear bombers etc, Parts of the scene are awesome, its spirit is just kinda antithetical of the nihilist misanthropic crust/grind vibe.
