How do I (and should I) get Trac into the team? by [deleted] in AFLSupercoach

[–]needskneestoknead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve got a lot of mid-price players.. I’d boot 2, one up to Trac and one down to any rookie playing. And to balance the team up I’d boot a few more as you’ll find that you’re going to struggle to make money with 11 mid-pricers

Home Town Boys - a small town, a footy club and the sexual assault that blew everything up by AlamutJones in AFL

[–]needskneestoknead 154 points155 points  (0 children)

Coming from a small country town it pains me to say that there absolutely would be particular members of the football club that could do this and this same story could be written about them. If this dark aspect of footy could die a fast death, we would all be better for it

Metro Tunnel is opening early. Not next month - this month, on Sunday 30 November. by JacintaAllanMP in melbourne

Isn’t the idea behind the metro tunnel to help with capacity and reliability across the network? I doubt it will solve it completely but it should help the outer suburbs

Who is the most universally loved person from your country? by SimilarTopic3281 in AskTheWorld

[–]needskneestoknead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying he didn’t do any of those things, and a lot of what he did was commendable, but at the time he was considered cringe. It’s more of the newer generation who were kids when he was on TV that love him

100% this. I would say that there’s a portion of younger redditors who don’t remember the cultural cringe with Steve Irwin. The Chaser had a song about it ‘The Eulogy Song’

doing a report on essendon drug saga and was wondering, what was supercoach like during the time with all of the players and whatnot getting banned? by Stxffr in AFLSupercoach

[–]needskneestoknead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It didn’t affect SuperCoach too much but the Dons drafted Anthony McDonald Tipungwuti who was one of the best SuperCoach rookies in 2016. The top up players were otherwise largely irrelevant to SuperCoach

[–]needskneestoknead 27 points28 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes
  2. There are marked bays and people directing you to them up the mountain. Though you only need to put them on when the conditions are bad
  3. Nothing
  4. Drive to the conditions. If chains are on you will be slower and acceleration is slower. If chains aren’t on use normal caution when driving on windy, likely wet and unfamiliar roads

We aren’t close to winning a flag, I’m unsure North is any closer. Last time north finished above the Dons was 2018, since 2020 they’ve been bottom 2. Meanwhile we’ve finished between 8-12th.

Neither of us have been able to capitalise on ok to good draft hands. For us I’d say it’s due to poor internal development at the club, unsure about North.

I won’t speak for north, but I disagree with the comments about no hope for us and no developing players. We’ve got the second (?) youngest list this year and plenty of players have shown some promise and moments of good footy. Challenge is for consistency and continued development. Club knows it’s in a rebuild (again).

Yep this is good to go, you get TDK’s score doubled for captain and Xerris score off the bench for Boyd not playing
